I actually liked the “star” system, as I felt it gave me a better idea of how the reader felt about the essay in a quick way. It gives a little more to think about than just the comments. Much of the peer review gave me some helpful comments. I think breaking the review into categories gives me more to think about in my own paper, and was a helpful guideline in review other student essays. One paper I couldn’t find, for someone in my group. I don’t know if it was there and just not under the tab or what.
